Proj. distance from M87 | 0.83 Mpc, 0.85 r/r200(c) | TW |
log f(Hα + [NII]) (d) | −12.22 ± 0.02 erg s−1 cm−2 | 2 |
SFR (a) | 0.08 M⊙ yr−1 | 2 |
Notes. All quantities are scaled to a distance of 16.5 Mpc, the mean distance of the cluster, for a fair comparison with other VESTIGE works. The uncertainty on the distance can be assumed to be ∼1 Mpc, the virial radius of the Virgo cluster.
Mstar and SFR are derived assuming a Chabrier (2003) IMF and the Calzetti et al. (2010) calibration.
Assuming r200(Virgo) = 0.974 Mpc (Boselli et al. 2022).
