Daily gas temperatures Tgas derived from the methanol rotational lines around 167, 213–230, 242, and 252 GHz as presented in the first part of Table 3. Variations cannot be related to the rotation of the nucleus (when folded on a single 9 h period). Most of the dispersion is due to the different series of methanol lines used: the 252 GHz ones sample a smaller region than the others and keep memory of Tgas at larger cometocentric distances than those at 242 GHz.
