Notes. Note: In the Planck channels, the statistical error bars in the polarization position angle of Tau A do not reflect the true uncertainties of these measurements. In addition to the statistical error, a 0.̊5 systematic error has to be added to the LFI measurements (Planck Collaboration III 2016) and 0.̊62 to the HFI measurements (Planck Collaboration VIII 2016) as indicated by the second ± symbol. Similarly, the WMAP errors in the polarized position angle are statistical and a systematic error of 1.̊5 has been added (Weiland et al. 2011).
Position angle for Planck LFI channels (30, 44, and 70 GHz) calculated using the maximum likelihood filtering method on the special beam deconvolved maps.
