IRTF/MIRSI radiance observations at 7.8 μm in the ν4 rotational-vibrational band of methane in Jupiter. These radiance images, recorded on June 30 (left) and December 5 (right), 2010, are essentially sensitive to the stratospheric temperature between 1 and 40 mbar. The radiances are given in erg/s/cm/cm/ster.
