Notes. N is the column density of molecule Y and XH the column density ratio [Y]/([H i]+2 × [H2]). The column densities of SO, H2S, and SO2 are from Tieftrunk et al. (1994) and those of CS are from Greaves et al. (1992). The velocity ranges are the same as in Table 6. The list of absorption components used to compute the SH+ and CH+ column densities is given in Table 6. The components for which the column density is an upper limit in Table 3 were ignored. x(y) means x × 10y.
