Table 2
Completeness of the sample in star-forming regions.
| Region | NII | fII/all | fobs/II | fobs/II(R<13) | fII(R<13)/II |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Taurus | 220 | 45% | 22% | ∼60% | ∼40% |
| Chamaeleon | 99 | 50% | 27% | ∼90% | ∼30% |
| Ophiuchus | 153 | 40% | 13% | ∼70% | ∼20% |
| Lupus | 82 | 55% | 28% | ∼60% | ∼50% |
| Corona Aus | 47 | 20% | 25% | ∼90% | ∼30% |
| Upper Sco | 294 | 20% | 10% | ∼50% | ∼20% |
Notes. Columns are regions, total number of Class II sources (see Sect. 2.3 for references), fraction of Class II sources in the whole region, fraction of Class II observed, fraction of Class II sources observable with current AO (R < 13 mag) that have been observed, and fraction of Class II that are observable. Orion is not included since the high number of sources (few thousands) precludes any aspiration toward completeness. Compared to Galli et al. (2021), the Ntot of Chamaeleon includes the 15 stars added to the count by Testi et al. (2022). Regions are sorted by the age of our subsample.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
