Notes. Parameters adopted for the volume density profiles of the regions investigated in this work. ChamII is not included as no relevant massive OBA type star is found near the studied stars-hosting discs. While, NGC2024 presents a sample of confirmed members which is too small and spread to reliably define a density profile. The listed parameters refer to Eq. (A.1) for UppSco, Lupus, ρ Oph, Taurus, ChamI, and CrA. For the ONC, σ Ori, and λ Ori we used Eq. (A.2), while NGC1977 and Serp regions are described by Eq. (A.1) at distances larger than rlim.
