Notes. Median and standard deviation of the distribution of the Dn(4000) parameter for all the galaxies in the samples (SF, composite, and AGN), subsamples (centrals: c, and satellites: s), and divided into young (Dn(4000) ≤ 1.67) and old (Dn(4000) > 1.67) galaxies. The second rows correspond to the fraction of young (fyoung) and old (fold) galaxies in each sample, respectively, thus for the same sample fyoung + fold = 100.
