Notes. Parameters of the third order fit to the running median for all SF galaxies in the DP17, Centrals-CS, SIG samples, and central galaxies in the SIP and SIT samples, used to obtain their corresponding 12 + log(O/H)–M relation, as shown in the right panel of Fig. 5. The uncertainties of the parameters have been estimated from the square root of the diagonal of the covariance matrix of the parameter estimates using the curve_fit function from the SciPy python library.
