The literature results are taken from parametrised fits to the stellar mass–size relation of star-forming galaxies. The Allen et al. (in prep.) values are taken from parametrised fits to JWST NIRCam F444W imaging of star-forming galaxies in CEERS (Bagley et al. 2023), PRIMER-UDS, and PRIMER-COSMOS (Dunlop et al. 2021).
