Table 1.

List and description of the eight parameters used to model the redshift evolution of the EoR 21 cm brightness temperature power spectrum Δ δ T b 2 $ \Delta^2_{\delta T_{\rm b}} $.

Parameters Description
z0 Redshift corresponding to x ¯ HI = 0.5 $ \overline{x}_{\mathrm{HI}}=0.5 $.
Δz Redshift range of reionization in a tanh model.
α0 Asymmetry parameter around x ¯ HI = 0.5 $ \overline{x}_{\mathrm{HI}}=0.5 $ in the redshift evolution of x ¯ HI $ \overline{x}_{\mathrm{HI}} $.
A Maximum value of the bias at k = 0.05 h Mpc−1.
x ¯ HI , $ \overline{x}_{\mathrm{HI},\star} $ Mean neutral fraction at the redshift when the bias at k = 0.05 h Mpc−1 gets the maxima.
αA Power-law index on x ¯ HI $ \overline{x}_{\mathrm{HI}} $ which accounts for the change of bias as a function of x ¯ HI $ \overline{x}_{\mathrm{HI}} $ at k = 0.05 h Mpc−1.
γc Account for the change in scale-dependence of bias with x ¯ HI $ \overline{x}_{\mathrm{HI}} $.
γ0 Account for the all-scale feature of bias in addition to small-scale feature 1/[1 + (k/0.3)1.5] at stages with x ¯ HI 0 $ \overline{x}_{\mathrm{HI}} \rightarrow 0 $.

Notes. Here bias represents the ratio of δTb to density power spectra Δ δ T b 2 / Δ δδ 2 $ \Delta^2_{\delta T_{\rm b}}/\Delta^2_{\delta\delta} $.
