The separation between the two nuclei of NGC 3256 is ∼5 $\overset{″}{.}$ $\overset{\prime \prime }{.}$ 2, thus their NIRSpec observations (∼0 $\overset{″}{.}$ $\overset{\prime \prime }{.}$ 16 angular resolution at 4.5 μm) are well spatially resolved.
