Representation of different models for the effective Reynolds number for the following values: ne = 10−3 cm−3, Re = 100, T = 108 K, vturb = 300 km s−1, vth, i = 1000 km s−1, L0 = 100 kpc, and Bequ = 10−6 G. In the unmagnetized regime, the solid black line is the Reynolds number that is not modified by the regulation of pressure anisotropies and is given in Eq. (25). Between the limiting magnetic field strengths given in Eqs. (1) and (9), we construct the three different models, Models U, M, and L. The black dotted line corresponds to results obtained from simulations of weakly collisional plasmas presented in St-Onge et al. (2020).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
