Note: All experiments were performed on a gold substrate held at 10 K. The ratios have been rounded off to the nearest whole number for visual convenience, while the number of monolayers deposited is mentioned to one decimal point of accuracy. The ramp during the TPD was 0.2 K s−1. Additional experiments were carried out but are not included in the main article for brevity and can be found in Appendix A.1.
