Notes. The third column specifies the average number of background galaxies based on which we constructed the simulated weak- lensing shear profile that is expected by the Euclid-ESA mission to lie beyond a cluster at a given redshift. The fourth column expresses the square root of the average number of background galaxies re-scaled by the ratio of angular diameter distances, which is relevant for quantifying the lensing detectability. The last column shows the average cluster mass at the corresponding redshift in units of 1014h−1M.
