Model image derived after applying the digital axial asymmetry filter to the observed image of comet C/2014 B1 (Schwartz) on 2017 January 31. The position of the nucleus is indicated by a cross, and the red line corresponds to the position of the rotation axis. There is a brightness asymmetry, indicating that the direction of rotation of the nucleus occurs from east to west on the sky plane.
