Mass distribution of WD companions of Ba stars. The purple histogram corresponds to the WD masses obtained for this publication, while the black histogram includes the results published in Jorissen et al. (2019) and Escorza et al. (2019b) assuming a narrow distribution of Q and M_WD. The bin-width was chosen to roughly follow the Freedman-Diaconis rule (Freedman & Diaconis 1981). The insert in the figure shows the cumulative frequency of the same two samples, including a 1-σ envelope for our results.
