Same format as in Fig. 13, but excluding quiescent systems using the sSFR distributions of the sources (see text for more details). For both populations, the vast majority of sources with high D_n4000 values (D_n4000 > 1.6) has been excluded. In the case of the H_δ distributions, the exclusion of quiescent systems results in the exclusion of the majority of sources with H_δ < 2. However, there is still a significant fraction of AGNs with H_δ ∼ 2 − 4. On the other side of the distribution, ∼20% of the galaxies have H_δ > 6, whereas the corresponding fraction of AGNs is ∼5%.
