Theoretical LSD profile variations for a g mode with (n, k, m)=(−30, 0, 1) in a 1.5-M stellar model with Xc = 0.4, calculated using a toy model (described in Sect. A.1). The velocity and temperature amplitudes of the pulsation at the stellar surface are set at 5 km s−1 and 10 K, respectively. The LPV are shown for νrot values of 0.25 d−1 (top) and 1.5 d−1 (bottom), at inclination angles of 30° (left), 60° (middle), and 90° (right).
