SFRnorm and LX are the mean values of the measurements presented in Fig. 7, grouped in LX bins of 0.5 dex, at all redshifts combined, and weighted based on the number of sources in each bin shown in Fig. 7. Errors represent the standard deviation of SFRnorm and LX in each bin. SFRnorm is systematically lower than one (below the dashed line), which means that at these luminosities the SFR of X-ray AGN is lower compared to that of MS star forming galaxies. In the Boötes field (blue circles), X-ray sources span higher luminosities than their counterparts in COSMOS. In the latter case, SFRnorm values indicate that the SFR of AGN is at least equal to (if not higher than) that of non-AGN systems.
