Relative difference of the Tinker et al. (2008) and the Despali et al. (2015) mass functions at z = 1 for a ΛCDM cosmology. To get a robust comparison between the two mass functions, we extrapolated the values of the parameters of the Tinker mass function (A, a, b, c) for Δvir(z = 1), which is the overdensity used for the Despali mass function. In red, we show the convex envelope of all the scenarios covered by the error bars provided by Despali et al. (2015). The mass is defined with respect to the virial radius.
