Notes.
Degeneration of barycentric orbits can arise for different reasons, such as third body gravitational interaction known to be significant in some cases, quadrupole or relativistic precession. We take into account non-coplanar CB-SMBHs as one of the degenerate cases. However, the latter two effects are irrelevant for qualitative orbital characteristics at short observational time scales. In any situation, there is the freedom to select the coordinate system so that the parameterisation is convenient and reasonable (Klioner 2003).
