Here, we measure the time with respect to JD 2 451 474.04. We tabulate the plotted values in the upper left panel. Finally, we perform a Bayesian linear fit to this data. Our prior for the time of explosion is indicated by the blue shaded region. From the posterior distribution, we show 100 randomly sampled regression curves for illustrative purposes. The right half of the figure features a corner plot of the inferred parameters. Our distance measurement is in excellent agreement with the Cepheid distance of Leonard et al. (2003), which is indicated by the blue shaded region.
