Notes. Black body radiation is assumed. For comparison, the ionising energy and photon numbers of the Pop III models of Yoon et al. (2012) are shown: these values are systematically higher than those of our corresponding models due to the higher effective temperatures of the metal-free models (see also Fig. 17).
