Table 2

Spectral parameters of the extended nebular spectrum of T Pyx (0.2–9.0 keV).

PSHOCK1 MEKAL2

NH1 (× 1022 cm-2) 0.4 0.5
kT1 (keV) 1.0 0.6
τ1 (τ = n0t) (× 1011 s cm-3) ~3.2 N/A
K13 (× 10-5 cm-5) 0.6 0.6

NH2 (× 1022 cm-2) 11.5 17.0
kT2 (keV) 2.3< 2.2
τ2 (τ = n0t) (× 1011 s cm-3) ~2 N/A
K23 (× 10-5 cm-5) 3.5 9.8

Notes.Ranges correspond to 2σ errors (Δχ2= 3.84 – single parameter) for the first and 3σ errors (Δχ2= 6.63 – single parameter) for the second component; values of the fits are 1.0.

(1)

The model is (tbabs*PSHOCK+tbabs*PSHOCK); tbabs– Wilms et al. (2000), PSHOCK – Borkowski et al. (2001).

(2)

The model is (tbabs*MEKAL+tbabs*MEKAL); MEKAL – Mewe et al. (1986).

(3)

Fit normalizations; a propagated count rate error of 40% is quadratically added. The normalization constant of the MEKAL/PSHOCK plasma emission models is K = (10-14/ 4πD2) × EM where EM (emission measure) = (integration is over the emitting volume V).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
