Reddening E(B − V) computed from IR emission for extragalactic sources as a function of galactic coordinates. The data were taken from Schlegel et al. (1998). Our calibration stars and ε Aur are denoted by crosses. The values of E(B − V) range from 0.65 to 1.22 for the positions of the calibration stars (note that these are not E(B − V) for the stars themselves). The cloud visible in the north-east direction is the nebular region TGU H1105 (Dobashi et al. 2005).
