Discovery of a massive supercluster system at z~0.47

This letter to the Editor reports the discovery in the SDSS BOSS
data of a supercluster named the BOSS Great Wall, which consists of two
large walls of 830 galaxies at redshift 0.45 < z 0.5. This new system
is more extended than any other known structure, and its closest
comparison in terms of morphology is the Sloan Great Wall.
