The Semi-empirical IFMR obtained using the stars in this study. The red and cyan circles are our C-stars and O-rich, respectively. Note that several stars in Table 5 correspond to the same data point. Grey points are white dwarfs from Cummings et al. (2018). The 4-piece linear fit (long-dashed line) draws the kink around Mini∼1.6−2.1 M suggested by Marigo et al. (2020, 2022). The dash-dotted line is the best fit obtained by Hollands et al. (2024) from the analysis of the double white dwarf binaries from Gaia DR3, focusing on the range Mini = 1−5 M.
