PC space with the direction and contribution of each chemical element in the first three principal components. Stars are dots in the space and arrows indicate the direction in which the abundance ratios are higher in these planes. The color of an arrow shows the overall contribution of the chemical element to both PCs. The first two components show how α-elements and [Al/Fe] dominate the variance. These arrows point in opposite directions in the space. This is due to the anticorrelation of these elements in the chemical space. The third component illustrates that [Fe/H] and [Eu/Fe] become important.
