In column (4), the signs + and − indicate our level of confidence in the visual detection of the candidate dwarf galaxies, with (++) a significant detection that appears symmetrical, diffuse and elliptical, (+) a similar detection but of lower surface brightness and (−) an uncertain detection due to a more ambiguous morphology.
