The EDGES measurement disfavors an excess radio background during the cosmic dawn

The simulation presented here has a box size of 500³ Mpc³ with a resolution of 250³. In order to accentuate the cosmic dawn era, we plot the horizontal axes linearly in redshift (as opposed to linearly in comoving scale).
