Quality of the NISP spectroscopy channel. Shown are three objects observed with the NISP red grism. From top: star of spectral type K2, QSO at redshift z = 2, and a z = 1.008 galaxy. The black lines are NISP spectra combined from four exposures of one ROS (4×549.6 s), that is, the Euclid wide survey depth. The coloured lines are shown for illustration purposes – they are models fits to the data with object types and redshift as calculated by the NISP spectroscopic pipeline.
