Notes. Number of galaxies classified at each merging stage: close pair (CP), pre-merger (PrM), merger (M), and post-merger (PsM), where of them, seven are classified as post-starburst (PSB). The total number of galaxies considered in this work is 137 galaxies. The last column presents the mean value (and standard deviation) of the probability that a galaxy presents merger morphology, parameterised with the pmerger value according to Domínguez Sánchez et al. (2018).
