Calculated mass precession, ΔωM = ΔωtotΔωSP, of S2 for schematic profiles as a function of the mass enclosed by raS2 . Shown are curves for (i) a BW profile dominated by two-body relaxation (black); (ii) an FS (Fragione & Sari 2018) profile dominated by captured stars following tidal disruption of binaries (red); and (iii) the Plummer (1911) profile (blue). Destructive collisions are not accounted for in these profiles. Superimposed are the results of N-body simulations with a discrete number of objects in the different profiles: Filled circles are from simulations with m = 10 M and open diamonds are for m = 30 M. The error bars in the different cases reflect a 1σ deviation for 100 realizations of the profile.
