Stellar properties derived by running pPXF (in the GIST Pipeline) on the MUSE datacube. Left to right: Maps of the stellar log intensity, stellar velocity, stellar residual velocity (observed minus model; see Sect. 3.2), stellar dispersion velocity, median stellar population age (Gyr), and metallicity. The nuclear position and the major and minor axes are marked in each panel. We note that the peak of the stellar dispersion is offset (toward the dust lane) from the nuclear position. The stellar population age is the intensity weighted median stellar population age of all templates used to fit a given spaxel.
