Specific angular momentum of the ɡ1 and ɡ2 populations as a function of time in simulations with both subpopulations and the ɡ1+ɡ2 models. The different panels show different external potentials and different orbit types (Cols. 1–3: CR, TB, LR orbits; top row: TNG potential, bottom row: FIX potential; Col. 4: isolated cluster). The specific angular momentum for the ɡ2 component is calculated by dividing the total angular momentum magnitude of the ɡ2 stars with the respective instantaneous total mass of ɡ2 stars within the tidal radius at the same moment of time, and similarly for the ɡ1 stars.
