Notes. For each parameter (ΔmX and c), the three columns from left to right are the best-fit results from the MCMC step, the differences between the best-fit results and the true values computed from the simulation (i.e., systematic uncertainties), and the final estimations, respectively. The final column is the final estimation of mX after adding the Fitzpatrick (1999) value of each recombination line. We do not list the uncertainties of mfinal since they are the same as those of Δmfinal. Although the Fitzpatrick (1999) extinction curve is used as the reference here, the results on mfinal are independent of the choice of the reference curve.
