Notes. Average numbers of detectable binaries for 4 and 10 years of LISA observations from 1000 simulations of the LMC, including our fiducial model and several simple models of a population with more orbital shrinkage from mass transfer and CEE. The standard deviation from Poisson uncertainty is 0.032 for all values. Binaries are considered detectable if their S/N > 7.
