Resulting MCMC best fit (in dark green) of the Te[N II]–Te[S III] relation calibrated on PHANGS-MUSE data, which are reported and colour-coded according to their metallicity value (see Sect. 3.2). Other calibrations from previous literature works are reported for comparison; the five curves show comparable behaviours.
