Stacked spectra by environment. The CO(2–1) line (red) is used to correct for the effect of the velocity field. In every panel, the HCN(1–0) intensities are multiplied by a factor of 30 for better comparison with the CO intensities. The grey-shaded area indicates the velocity window over which the integrated intensities are computed.
