Distributions of the maximum absolute difference in RV measurements (ΔRV_max) for the red giants analyzed in Sect. 3 (green), as well as the RV standard stars (blue) and SB9 binaries (orange) used to test the w classification. For the red giants, the RV measurements are from Gaia, GALAH, and RAVE. For the SB9 cases, the RVs are from the catalog itself, Gaia, and RAVE.
