Linear polarisation degree P′L inferred from the simulation results, for the 3D setup described in Sect. 3.3.1 (see Fig. 4). We find an excellent agreement between the SKIRT results and the theoretical polarisation degree Eq. (18), for all scattering angles (θ, φ).
