Core radius as a function of time, as measured in N-body simulations, with trh defined in equation (7). Each case has been averaged over 50 realisations with N = 104. Increasing the rotation strength α slightly reduces the time of core collapse. Nevertheless, the impact of rotation (i.e. the gravo-gyro catastrophe) is surely not as pronounced as what was observed in, e.g., Einsel & Spurzem (1999).
