Simplistic sketch (not to scale) of the proposed scenario: The large scale jet is relatively highly inclined (60° in the example here), and has a wide outflowing shocking gas that crosses the plane of the sky. The redshifted and blueshifted emission is represented in red and blue, respectively. The grey-shaded box highlights the view of the projected emission on the plane of the sky that we see in observations.
