Three examples of flare candidates identified by the program and removed during the manual inspection process. If there were fewer than three points above the background light curve (left panel), or variations in the stellar background light curve were mistakenly identified as flare events (middle panel), or the profile of the candidate did not match the normal shape of flares (right panel), we removed these flare candidates to make our results more accurate.
