Extinction laws adopted in GalaPy, normalised to the value in the V–band at 5500 Å, for diffuse dust (green) and dust in molecular clouds (blue). The extinction is modelled as a double powerlaw (see Eqs. (18)–(20)) with slope changing at around 100 μm (marked with a dotted line; the default values of the slopes are adopted in the plot (see Sect. 2.3 for details).
