An overview of the field of view from both Earth and Solar Orbiter and the location of the Solar Orbiter spacecraft with respect to Earth on March 30th 2022. The leftmost panel shows an AIA 171 Å image at 2022-03-30 17:29:57. The flaring active region of interest lies within the black box. The middle panel shows a 174 Å image from the Full Sun Imager (FSI) on-board Solar Orbiter’s Extreme Ultraviolet Imager (EUI; Rochus et al. 2020) from 17:36:20. The limb as seen from AIA is shown in purple. The rightmost panel shows a top-down view of the spacecraft location with respect to the Sun-Earth line in Heliographic Stonyhurst coordinates.
