Comparison of the light curves of solar-like oscillating giant KIC 1572175 (top panel), rotationally modulated light curve of main-sequence star KIC 1164109 (middle panel) and symbiotic star RT Cru exhibiting accretion-induced variability (bottom panel). The light curves of KIC 1572175 and KIC 1164109 were obtained by the Kepler satellite and are taken from the KEPSEISMIC light curve database (https://archive.stsci.edu/prepds/kepseismic/; García et al. 2011, 2014; Pires et al. 2015). The light curve of RT Cru is obtained from the TESS FFIs using the Lightkurve package (see Sect. 3) and shows part of the Sector 65.
