Models of the CLV and RM effect of the Na I D1 line for a Sunlike star orbited by a Jupiter-sized planet at b = 0. The upper panel is the CLV effect-only, and the middle panel combines the CLV with the RM effect for a slow-rotator like the Sun. Finally, the bottom panel shows the two effects for a fast-rotator, that is a Sun-like star with a rotational velocity of 10 km s−1.
