Table 2.

Estimates of the duration of star formation activity ΔTsfr and age of the last episode of star formation Tstars in objects of different stellar mass Ms.

log Ms log Tstars, GLO log Tstars, GAL ΔTsfr, GLO ΔTsfr, GAL
5 10.08 4.64 0.77 12.80
6 10.06 5.32 1.32 12.80
7 10.04 6.00 1.83 12.79
8 10.02 6.68 2.33 12.79
9 10.00 7.36 2.80 12.78
10 9.98 8.04 3.25 12.69
11 9.96 8.72 3.68 12.28
12 9.94 9.40 4.09 10.29
13 9.92 10.08 4.48 0.78

Notes. The suffix GLO indicates objects with increasing ΔTsfr, the suffix GAL indicates objects with decreasing ΔTsfr. All objects start their star formation at redshift zf = 5, i.e., the age of the Universe TU(birth) = 12.8 Gyr. The total age of the universe is TU = 13.8 Gyr. Tstars and ΔTsfr are in Gyr. Masses are given in solar units.
